Bringing furry family members home!!
I know how stressful finding the right person to transport your pet safely can be. I hope to ease your fears through communication, pictures, and frequent updates until your pet has made it to their destination. While in my care your pet will receive love and attention. The carrier used is cleaned and disinfected after each completed transport. Single use puppy pads are also used. I also don’t potty young pets in common pet areas for their protection.
I’d love the opportunity to speak more with you and earn your trust and your business.
Dogs Gone Transport is registered through USDA as a Class T Carrier under Amy Riley (owner and Pet Transporter) and insured!!

PRICING QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
It’s best to ask for a quote. When asking for a quote please include the date needed and from what airport I’m picking up and to which airport I’m traveling to. Also please include the age of the pet at the time of travel, if it’s a dog or cat, and approximate weight. Delta has a minimum age of 10 weeks to travel.
WHAT AIRLINES DO YOU USE?
Typically I use Southwest and United. However I look at all airlines and quote the cheapest.
DO YOU CHARGE MORE FOR MULTIPLE PETS?
Only if warranted by hotel pet fees or airline. If more than one pet is flying in cabin then it depends on if 2 pets can travel in the same carrier. Some airlines allow me to bring a second carrier but I have to purchase an additional seat to accommodate this. If I’m doing ground transportation then no I don’t charge extra for multiple pets.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR GROUND TRANSPORTATION?
I charge $0.55 a mile up to 500 miles from Sacramento.
DO YOU EVER FLY STANDBY?
No because I can’t guarantee when your pet will arrive and I’d rather not take the chance of having your pet stay in a crazy stressful environment any longer than necessary. Due to this I may be more expensive than some flight nannies.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING LAYOVERS?
Layovers are fun for me because I get to take your pet out of the carrier and let them stretch their legs. Typically puppies just want to be held. I also use this time to clean the carrier, change the puppy pads if needed, and clean up your pet if needed. I also offer water and play time. For puppies and kittens I normally bring a new toy for them to play with.
DO YOU ACCEPT TIPS?
I do accept tips but they aren’t mandatory. They do help me know that you were very happy with my services.
MY BUDGET IS TIGHT BUT I NEED HELP CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE MY NEEDS?
Within reason I will definitely work with your budget. I still at the very least need to have all of my expenses covered. Just reach out and ask.
Is there still a question that you’d like answered? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please know my business is not a job, it’s a hobby. I enjoy spending time with your pets, providing love, attention, and play time until we reach our destination.
I try and quote flights as reasonable as I can. However sometimes the price is more because the date is very soon, it’s a rural airport, or all of the economy seats are already sold. All of these situations are out of my control. So when I quote a flight it’s best to decide quickly before the rates go up.
